Painting
I suppose I’ve been painting, and drawing and generally mark-making for all of my life. It was my go-to pasttime as a child, my safe place as a teenager, and my passion during the quieter parts of my life.
As a form of expression, it has always been a place where i can look to explore some of the harder moments of my life, and find solace and understanding ” far from the madding crowd”…
I come to the easel, from moment to moment these days, counting, as i do, all the multifaceted parts of my studio practice as part of an ever-growing, larger whole, through which I’m led to explore me, my thought-processes, psychedelics, and the extremely abstract nature of so-called reality.
Recent years, with the restriction of space that I have at my barn, have found me painting with acrylics due to the drying times, although i also painted in oils while was living in Vernet-les-Bains (66) due to the much larger studio.

Other Experiences
Over the years, I’ve worked as a Chef, an Archeologist, a Builder and a Yurt Maker.
